Dr. Daniel Araoz earned his Ed.D. from Columbia University in 1969. He is Licensed Psychologist: Illinois since 1972, Pennsylvania since 1976, and New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2006. Dr. Araoz is presently a Senior Professor, School of Education, at The C.W. Post campus of Long Island University. He is a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis. Dr. Araoz is Board Certified: ABPP (Counseling Psychology and Family Psychology), ABPH (Clinical Hypnosis), AASECT (Sex Therapist). He is an Approved Supervisor of AAMFT and (ACS), CCE, and a Certified Psychoanalyst (NCPsyA)), NAAP. Dr. Araoz is a NYSPA Emeritus; member NYSCH, NYMHCA.
Dr. Araoz is the author of 12 published books including "The New Hypnosis in Sex Therapy," and “Sexual Joy through Self-Hypnosis" and over 100 articles, chapters and book reviews. He has given Workshops in the USA, Canada, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Spain and Chile.
